Final Fantasy Duo

These are the Yuna and Lulu of Final Fantasy X costumes I made for April of 2008. For the decor on the skirt and obi, I just used fabric paint. To make the faded pink dye on the sleeve bottoms, I filled the sink with warm water, added several drops of red food colouring and dunked the sleeves in about halfway... then once they were out (I did each one separately of course) I got an old toothbrush and brushed the pink water-dye upward to create the fading-into-white look.

As for the Lulu costume, well... The corset is 16 steel bones, Victorian cut, with zipper in the front instead of a busk.
